Portola Hotel & Spa has a history of supporting our environment and has participated in several programs dedicated to conserving environmental resources. Portola Hotel & Spa is currently in the process of achieving the U.S. Green Building Council’s silver LEED^® certification.

Our Monterey Bay green business has been awarded:

• California Integrated Waste Management Board’s WRAP (Waste Reduction Awards Program) Award 16 years in a row
• Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program’s green certification
• Awarded the California Hotel & Lodging Association Stars of the Industry Award for “Good Earth Keeping”
