The award-winning wine list at Jacks Monterey, was recently the recipient of the 2019 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Jacks has been honored with this coveted award, three years in a row for their diverse range of varietals found on their wine list. From featuring different flavor profiles to local vineyards; and even cultures from around the globe – Jacks Monterey’s wine list is robust and bold!
Try the popular Strawberry Fields Forever Salad made with local strawberries from Coke Farms, arugula, almonds, spring onions, goat cheese fritters, and a creamy balsamic dressing which pairs perfectly with a 2016 Bernardus Griva Sauvignon Blanc. This varietal is rich in texture with aromas of tropical fruit.
For the pasta lover, experience Chef’s Skillet Baked Rigatoni with beef and pork Bolognese, marsala, parmesan and red pepper flakes. This delicious pasta dish can be complimented by a 2015 Bernardus Rosella’s Vineyard Pinot Noir. Aromas of black cherry and dark boysenberry are a true palate pleaser.
