Guest Post: Nancy Williams, Director of Sales & Events at the Monterey Conference Center – Renovation Update
The Monterey Conference Center is in the process of an exciting renovation that will not only enhance future meetings and events, but bring new life to downtown Monterey. As the demolition phase of the project wraps up I am meeting with prospective clients who are excited to learn about the renovation and start booking the facility as early as April 1, 2017.
The new Monterey Conference Center will include:
- 40,000+ total square feet
- Two ballrooms
- Banquet facilities
- Patios and terraces for welcome receptions and breakouts
- State-of-the-art technology
- U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Certification
In addition to a newly remodeled conference facility, the Monterey Conference Center will continue to partner with the adjacent Portola Hotel & Spa and Monterey Marriott to offer the Monterey Conference Connection for large scale conferences and events.
