Toast Under the Mistletoe: Holiday Drink Recipe
Let’s toast to the season with a holiday-inspired cocktail, created by our Mixologists at Jacks Monterey, right here at the Portola Hotel & Spa. Tradition may say one must give a kiss under the mistletoe, but in this case, why not a sip?!
Introducing your new favorite holiday libation – The Mistletoe
- 1 once of cranberry sauce (homemade or store bought)
- 2 ounces of spiced rum
- 1 once of lemon juice
- 1 once of apple juice
- 1-2 ounces sparkling apple cider
- 1 Rosemary sprig
- Add 1 once of cranberry sauce (homemade or store bought) to a glass
- Pour 2 ounces of your favorite brand of spiced rum
- Add 1 once of lemon juice, and 1 once of apple juice
- Add ice and shake ingredients vigorously
- Strain over ice and top with sparkling apple cider
- Garnish with a rosemary sprig and ENJOY!
