Pair a Starter
Start your evening off with Duckhorn Napa 2015 Merlot pairing with a cheese plate of Gouda, gorgonzola, and brie combined with honeycomb and French baguette. This wine has juicy layers of Bing cherry, raspberry, and plum. These flavors add to long, generous finish notes of vanilla, clove, and ground coffee.
Enjoy your next course with our own Monterey Merlot from Ryder 2016, which is sustainably farmed. It offers black fruit and blueberry aromas with ripe plum and raspberry flavors. The finishing notes of vanilla, mocha, and spice pair perfectly with our Fresh Potato Gnocchi with spinach, maitake mushrooms and Pt. Reyes blue cheese.
Pair an Entrée
Time to get serious with your third course of Filet Tip Stroganoff with pappardelle, wild mushrooms, and crème fraiche by enjoying a Silverado Mt. George Vineyard 2014 Napa. This Merlot features fresh raspberry, and savory herbs combined for a clean mineral finish of bark and lemon zest. It is truly delicious with this pasta course.
Filet Mignon Tips Stroganoff
How about a Merlot to go with our New York with Yukon gold potato tostones and bordelaise sauce? It pairs perfectly with our 2017 Rutherford Merlot. Organically grown in cool clay soil, this wine features plum fruit aromas, finishing notes of oak, vanilla, and chocolate blend deliciously with the entrée right off the barbie.
Pair a Dessert
Seaside's Angelina's Bakery, provide the finishing touch with their Chocolate Cake as you sip on Markham Merlots Sonoma 2016. Intense and full bodied this wine features blackberry, chocolate, and vanilla with a chewy fruity finish. It's terrific with this yummy dessert.
