At the Portola Hotel & Spa, the health and safety of our guests, staff, and community are and continue to be our highest priority. As a result, we have determined to temporarily suspend all operations as of March 18, 2020, at 5pm for the foreseeable future. This difficult decision is in line with recommendations by local and federal health authorities, encouraging limited social gatherings and travel. While Portola Hotel & Spa has had no confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are closing our doors as a precaution to ensure the health and safety of our guests, employees, and our local community.

We continue to follow updates, recommendations, and guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as the wellbeing of our guests and staff is of paramount importance. We are devastated to see the global impact of the COVID-19, and our hearts go out to those affected.

There have been no cases of COVID-19 at Portola Hotel & Spa. We’ve maintained and surpassed our rigorous health and hygiene standards across the Portola Hotel & Spa brand. In suspending all operations, we are committing to mitigating the further spread of this virus and reducing the impact on our healthcare system. Portola Hotel & Spa’s team are closely monitoring the situation through updates provided by the CDC, WHO, and local health department and will reopen when it’s advised to do so.

Our Cancellation Policy

Portola Hotel is committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times. All new reservations made for 2020 directly on our website will not be charged a deposit upon booking and have a flexible cancellation policy. Existing reservations can be canceled without penalty.

The Portola's on-site reservations department is temporarily closed. For questions regarding new and confirmed hotel reservations email reservations@portolahotel.com. Please allow 72 hours to receive an email response from our team. 

Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

Group Sales

We are delighted to assist with current bookings and future group business. Our group sales team is available on a limited basis and we will respond to your inquiry as quickly as possible.
