Peter B’s Brewpub Reveals New Fall Brew Lineup Pumpkin Beer, Scotch Ale and Coffee Stout
Monterey, CA – August 14, 2012 – A new season brings new brews to Peter B’s Brewpub, Monterey’s only craft brewery located behind the Portola Hotel & Spa, Monterey's first and only Silver LEED® EB certified hotel. This fall, Peter B's Brewpub officially announces its new fall brew lineup: Pumpkin Beer, Scotch Ale, a collaboration with Campbell Brewing, and Coffee Stout, a collaboration with local roasting shop Acme Coffee.
The new fall options, which will begin to launch in September, pair perfectly with Chef Jason Giles’ delicious and sustainable fare. Diners can enjoy great food and new fall-inspired craft brews prepared in the recently renovated brewery. The renovation included adding a new beer cellar, which features four energy-efficient brite tanks. This new cellar adds 18,000 gallons of beer per year and enough storage space to continue the brewing of small batch and seasonal selections like the Pumpkin Beer, Scotch Ale and Coffee Stout. As a result of the expansion, Peter B’s Brewpub is able to save electricity, furthering their reputation as an environmentally responsible business.

Clark joined Peter B’s Brewpub in late 2010 and his dedication to the craft of brewery has led to some of greatest tasting brews guests have ever experienced. He first began brewing out of his garage, which let him explore the manipulation of water, barley, yeast, and hops and the ingredients’ transformation into the ancient beverage that has since been incorporated into some of Americans’ favorite past times. Clark has helped Peter B's Brewpub earn a silver medal for their inclusion Amber Ale and a bronze medal for their Ford Ord Wheat at the 2011 world beer championships, as well as a bronze medal for their Fort Ord Wheat Ale at the 2012 World Beer Championships.
