JACKS RESTAURANT & LOUNGE RECEIVES 2015 WINE SPECTATOR AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

Monterey, CA – September 8, 2015 Jacks Restaurant & Lounge, located within the Portola Hotel & Spa in Monterey, CA has been awarded the Wine Spectator’s 2015 Award of Excellence for its wine program.

Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.

“We are very honored to have received the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for the second year in a row,” said Sonny Peterson, Portola Hotel & Spa’s Food and Beverage Director. “This award shows that our wine list is not only diverse with a variety of selections but is also designed to accommodate the most discriminating connoisseurs palate while simultaneously providing a sensory awakening for the novice.”
