Monterey, CA – November 12, 2014 – Portola Hotel & Spa will launch a Runner’s Lounge pop up shop on November 15th and 16th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., coinciding with the Big Sur Half Marathon taking place November 16th. The race finish line is in Custom House Plaza behind the Portola Hotel & Spa.

Located in the Portola Hotel Lower Lobby, the Runner’s Lounge will showcase lucy, lifestyle apparel brand serving women who value fit, style and performance. lucy’s Monterey location is a few miles away from the Portola Hotel at Del Monte Shopping Center.

Other features of the Runner’s Lounge include treats prepared by Jacks Lounge, as well as assorted granola bars ($2.50). V8 Fusion juices ($4.50) and Naked Juice (Berry Blast or Mango $8) will be available for purchase. Additionally, Jacks Restaurant will serve up its Pineapple Coconut Water ($6), and Peter B’s will offer its 22 oz. bottled IPA, Blonde or Amber Ale ($8) to visitors of the pop up. Jacks Lounge will open at 11 a.m. on November 15th and 16th for the race weekend.
