Holiday Offerings
Jacks Monterey is offering a three-course Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 27, 2025, from 3pm to 9pm. Gather with your family and friends under the tree-lined atrium and pair your meal with award-winning wines while we create a Thanksgiving evening to remember! Jacks three-course Thanksgiving dinner in Monterey, CA includes:
FIRST COURSE: STARTER (Select one)
- Red & Golden Beet Salad
- Served with Feta, Marcona Almonds, Cider Vinaigrette
- Lobster Bisque
- Cup of soup
SECOND COURSE: ENTRÉE (Select one)
- 12oz Prime Rib of Beef (+$10)
- Served with Aus Jus and Horseradish Cream brussel sprouts & whipped potatoes
- Deistel Turkey
- Served with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts & whipped potatoes

Santa Claus is coming to town with The Peninsula Harmony Company Trio Carolers*! This year, Saint Nick will be available for dinner on Saturday, December 29, from 5pm to 8pm, to say hello to our guests and take photos at your leisure.
Join Santa for breakfast on Sunday, November 30 & December 7, from 8:30am and enjoy Jacks Monterey’s most popular morning offerings, including Buttermilk Pancakes, Classic Eggs Benedict, Huevos Rancheros, Mimosas, and more. The Portola team will also host cookie decorating in the hotel lobby. Complimentary cookies decorating available while supplies last.

Jacks Monterey's wine program is recognized by Wine Spectator's 2024 Award of Excellence and continues to appeal to a wide range of wine enthusiast.

Would it be a holiday season without the Mean Green One at Jacks Monterey? Don’t worry this grouchy, curmudgeon friend won’t try to steal your holiday spirit! Meet the Mean Green One at Peter B's & Jacks Monterey inside the Portola Hotel & Spa as he strolls through the dining room.
The Mean Green One will be available Friday, December 19 at Peter B's and Saturday, December 20 at Jacks Monterey from 6pm to 8pm, to say hello to our guests and take photos at your leisure.

Gather at Jacks Monterey this Christmas Eve and enjoy Jacks’ Monterey Bay Cioppino special. Indulge in fresh caught, halibut, calamari, mussels and more, served with fresh baked garlic bread.
