Established in 1996, Peter B’s is Monterey’s original craft brewery and a longtime staple—and favorite sports bar—in Downtown Monterey, California. What began as a small operation brewing for Carmel Valley Brewing Company evolved in 2000 when the hotel acquired its own equipment, launching on-site production and establishing Peter B’s as a true craft beer destination. The brewery expanded distribution across the Monterey Peninsula in 2011, followed by increased brewing capacity in 2012 to meet growing demand. In 2025, Peter B’s completed a full restaurant renovation, enhancing the guest experience while preserving its legacy.
