Established in 1996, Peter B's opened as Monterey's original craft brewery, initially brewing beer for Carmel Valley Brewing Company. In 2000, the hotel acquired the brewing equipment, allowing Peter B's to begin crafting its own beer on-site. By 2011, the brewery expanded into distribution across the Monterey Peninsula, and in 2012, additional brewing capacity was added to meet growing demand. In 2025, Peter B's underwent an exciting renovation of its restaurant space, enhancing the guest experience while honoring its legacy as a pioneer in Monterey's craft beer scene.
Natalie joined Peter B's in 2019 and was promoted to Head Brewer in 2021. A graduate of California Polytechnic University with a degree in Wine and Viticulture, she began her career in the wine industry, gaining experience through five vintages at Bodega Calle in Argentina, Scheid Vineyards in Greenfield, CA, VinLink Winery in New Zealand, and The Wine Group in Soledad, CA.
"Brewing found me for sure," says Natalie. "After years of harvest hopping between hemispheres, a friend shared the listing for Assistant Brewer just as I returned to Monterey County. I fell in love with beer while in Belgium, and everything fell into place from there."

This October, Jacks Monterey and Peter B’s are raising a glass for a great cause. For every Non-alcoholic Ritual Margarita or Pink Panther Lemon Drop sold during the month, we’ll donate $1 to the Breast Cancer Assistance Group of Monterey County, helping support local individuals and families impacted by breast cancer.
