Monterey Bay Property Unveils $1.83 Million Renovation to 16,488 Square Feet of Premier Event Space

Monterey, CA - February 22, 2024 - Portola Hotel & Spa, Monterey's premier coastal-inspired hotel, announces the completion of its extensive renovation to the De Anza and Bonsai Ballrooms and De Anza Foyer. With an investment of $1.83 million, these updates enhance the hotel's reputation as Monterey's leading destination for corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.

The creative vision behind this transformative project was led by RoseBernard Studio. Renovations to the De Anza Ballroom's 10,655 square feet, the De Anza Foyer's 3,287 square feet, and the Bonsai Ballroom's 2,546 square feet include new carpet and wall covers, elevated décor, restored crown moldings, and updated light fixtures.
