Whale Watching

Monterey is also known as the "Whale Watching Capital of the World" and is a top destination for tourists. At the wharf, there's an immense amount of fun and adventurous ocean activities such as deep sea fishing trips and whale watching excursions that are open year-round. When you are on Fisherman's Wharf, you may spot harbor seals, sea lions, sea otters, seagulls, and even whales in the bay.
