Join us for a refined evening of exceptional wines and Italian-inspired flavors as we celebrate the artistry of Allegrini and Girlan.
This exclusive six-course dinner features the finest locally sourced ingredients, expertly paired with a hand-selected portfolio of wines from these iconic Italian producers. Set in the elegant Club Room at Portola Hotel & Spa and accompanied by live music from the International Trio, this is a wine dinner you won’t want to miss.
Allegrini is a benchmark, sixth-generation family winery in Valpolicella Classico, farming over 120 hectares of estate vineyards and renowned for its Amarone, cru wines, and the iconic Palazzo della Torre, which has helped define the region worldwide.
Celebrating its centenary in 2023, Cantina Girlan is a historic Alto Adige producer acclaimed for terroir-driven Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and alpine whites that express the distinctive character of the Dolomite foothills.
Throughout the evening, Carl Ashurst, Executive Chef, alongside Matteo Allegrini, Proprietor of Allegrini, and Oscar Lorandi, President of Girlan, will share the inspiration behind each pairing, offering an immersive journey into the flavors, regions, and craftsmanship that define these celebrated wines.
