Lovers Point Park & Beach
If you're headed to the Monterey Peninsula this summer, Lovers Point is worth a visit for a quintessential day at the beach. This park is perfect for picnicking, but also swimming, surfing, and fishing. San Carlos Beach

The Monterey Rec Trail
Walk or bike along this scenic trail and enjoy stunning views of the harbor. There are picnic tables along the way from Portola Hotel & Spa to Cannery Row. Sit down at Sister City Park or other stops down the trail. Not many people use these areas for picnics so you're likely to have your pick of a great view!
Carmel Beach
