About the Book
Published in 2023, Mother-Daughter Murder Night is Nina Simon's debut novel. Along with the mystery at the center of the story, the book explores the relationship between three generations of women and how they learn to rely on one another. Simon wrote the novel while caring for her mother during a serious health challenge and describes it as a way to connect with and entertain her. The setting is also an important part of the story. Simon lives near Santa Cruz, about 30 minutes north of Elkhorn Slough.
